RAW/LOG IMAGE
The image how it looks right out of camera. It is washed out to maximize dynamic range and capture the most data in camera.
CONVERTED TO REC. 709
The image is brought to life by either manually adjusting exposures and saturation, or adding a camera color profile that will do this automatically.
INTIAL GRADE
Where the magic happens... A look is created by altering the colors and exposure settings captured by the camera. This is also done by using LUTs
(Look-Up-Tables) that change the image exposure & color settings.
FINAL GRADE
Final adjustments are made to complete the image. Some of these finishing touches include film grain, halation, spot removal and other small corrections.
